Beyond spin

Spin is the fog journalists have to pierce to do their job. But the fog is not always easy to disperse. For some tips on how to do the job in the age of the flacks, read Phil Dickie's useful two-parter, Getting past spin cycle at www.brisinst.org.au/resources/dickie_phil_spin1.html www.brisinst.org.au/resources/dickie_phil_spin2.html. Phil is the author of The Road to Fitzgerald.
