Working for our lives
Barbara Pocock has tackled some tricky issues in a new book,
The Work/Life Collision, from Federation Press. The first chapter is available online at

Pocock is from the Department of Social Inquiry, University of Adelaide, and her book deals with work and home issues such as longer working hours, parental leave, casual work, and the plummeting birth rate.
